Felines are a family of mammals known as Felidae, which includes 37 cat species such as the cheetah, puma, jaguar, leopard, lion, lynx, tiger, and domestic cat. They have adapted to a range of habitats, from tropical rainforests to the extremes of deserts and mountain ranges.
